HUSBAND

Father, as l stand in Your presence in the name of Jesus, I thank You for this day that You made it for me and You and I will rejoice and be glad in it (Ps. 118:24). As I speak Your Word, I know it will never return to You void but it will accomplish and prosper that which you have sent it to do (Isa. 55:11). As I attend unto Your Word, Your words are life and health to all my flesh and for whom I pray (Prov. 4:22).

This day l trust in You with all my heart, and I lean not on my own understanding but in all my ways I acknowledge You and You direct my paths (Prov. 3:5, 6). I choose to approach the day of Jesus not stumbling or causing any member of my family to stumble. My desire and goal is to abound in and be filled with the fruits of righteousness-- which is right standing with You,

Father, and right doing, which comes through Jesus Christ the Anointed One (Phil. 1:11). I want to honor and praise You, that Your glory (Your presence) may be manifested and recognized this day wherever I go and in whatever I say or do.

I am a man of love. I am very patient and kind, never jealous or entitles, never boastful or proud. I am never haughty, selfish or rude.

I never demand my own way. I am not irritable or touchy. I do not hold grudges and I do not notice when others do me wrong (I Cor. 13:4, 5).

I love my wife, I will be loyal to her no matter what the cost. I will always believe in her, always expect the best of her, I will always stand my ground in defending her (I Cor. 13:7). She never fails for she is a godly woman. Love is shed abroad in my heart for her by the Holy Ghost (Rom. 5:5). I love her as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it (Eph. 5:25).

I walk in love (Eph. 5:2). I abound in love toward her (PhiI. 1:9).

I declare today our hearts are knit together in love (Col. 2:2) and perfect love in us casts out all fear (I Jn. 4:18). I live with my wife according to the knowledge of the Word. Because I do, my prayers are not hindered (I Pet. 3:7).

She is truly a good wife. She is worth more than precious gems (Prov. 31:10). I trust in her and she richly satisfies my needs (Prov. 31:10). I praise her with these words: "There are many fine women in the world, but my wife is the best of them all'' (Prov. 3 1:28, 29).
